Here are some images from the 1s game played in Largo, Fife. The ground is spectacular, but, after a relatively clear early period, the weather decided to play foul.We got off to a good start, removing their opening batsmen for under 50, with a great touch from Hassan to effect a run out. It looked as if things were going our way, however a third wicket stand of 100+ and some good hitting on a fast outfield saw Largo post a formidable total of 268/7 in their 50 overs. G.Robinson 101, G.Murdoch 58; Ujval 3-47, Hassan 1-53, Phil 1-26, Arjun 1-32.
After a cracking tea, we were looking forward to the chase on what was a great track. Phil's innings started to look promising at 13 not out, with a couple of nicely executed shots. Then the rain - which had light and intermittent thus far, made its presence felt in a 30 minute downpour of increasing intensity. Although it cleared up, and understandably, Largo were keen to get us back out, the lower end of the pitch was just too wet to attempt a resumption of play.

Phil goes out to bat as BCC start the chase.
...but soon the clouds burst.
Time for a commercial break ..the game seems a long way off!
Largo stay warmed-up, keen to get back out...
...but the wicket was too wet to play on.
In the end, we all had to walk away from the game.
